With spring here, many of us are already thinking of the hot summer days – and what is not to love about that, really? If you are daydreaming about the warm sands and the music of the waves too, you definitely want to make sure you pack all the necessities for a beach trip – but what are the absolute essentials you shouldn’t forget at home?
We have gathered some tips for you – so read on and find out more.
A Bathing Suit
This comes without saying, but you shouldn’t forget your bathing suit at home. Ideally, you will want to pack a couple of them – just in case something happens to your first option.
Oh, and pick a bathing suit that really makes you feel like a Queen Mermaid of the beach – whether it’s a bikini, a one-piece or a burkini, rock it like a diva, you deserve the sunshine and the happiness only a beach can offer!
A Wrap
A scarf, a sarong, or any kind of wrap can be a precious accessory to pack for a beach trip. It’s perfect for those times when you want to add a bit of femininity and chic-ness to your beach look, it can be used as a scarf when the evening falls, and it can cover you on your way to safety when running from a summer rain (not that you’ll have to face any, but you know, it’s better to be safe, right?).
A Beach Dress
Some of you might want to resume to wearing a long T-shirt or dress shirt to the beach. Others may want to look for something with a bit more cuteness in it. Regardless of what your style may be, a beach dress is perfect to wear from your hotel to the beach. Search for something comfortable and flattering at the same time – you will absolutely love wearing it almost every day!
A Pair of Comfy Shoes
Flip-flops or beach sandals, jellies or pure leather, a pair of comfy shoes to wear to the beach is a must. For a bit of extra-height, pick a pair of wedges, for a dash of that 90s vibe, wear a high pair of jelly sandals, and for something sweet and feminine, search for a simple pair of strappy sandals. Don’t wear anything too expensive (as you will regret all that sand-that-won’t-come-out post-vacation vibe), or anything too likely to blister, to be too tight, or plain and simply insufferable on the beach. You really want to enjoy this vacation, and bad shoes are not part of the bargain, right?
A Pair of Sunglasses
We highly advise you to invest in a quality pair of sunglasses. Not only does it look better and stands a much higher chance of surviving to the next summer, but it can protect your eyes much better too. After all, this is your health at stake – so yes, paying a bit more for a good pair of sunglasses is more than worth it.
